The Firefly Restaurant overlooks Firefly Lake and offers exceptional food, drinks and shared moments. Just a few miles from the Dorset coastline, the menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients, with fish at its heart.
Guests can enjoy everything from indulgent brunches to fresh seafood, seasonal small plates and expertly prepared signature dishes.
The space invites guests to slow down and settle in, whether dining indoors or relaxing on the lakeside veranda, where tranquil views across Firefly Lake provide the perfect backdrop.
The Firefly Restaurant welcomes all visitors, with no membership required.

Festive dining at Firefly
Available daily from 20th November to 23rd December, from 12:00-15:00 and 17:00-21:00, The Firefly Restaurant will be serving both our seasonal winter à la carte menu and a special festive menu.
Our festive menu, available by pre-order only, is ideal for corporate dining and festive get-togethers with family and friends. Choose from two or three courses and enjoy a memorable dining experience showcasing the very best seasonal flavours.
A £10 deposit is required for festive menu bookings. Please contact our team to make your reservation and arrange payment. Our team will then send you a pre-order form, which must be completed and returned at least 7 days before your visit.
Guests wishing to dine from our winter à la carte menu can book as normal, with no pre-order required.

At The Firefly Restaurant, cooking starts long before the dish is served at the table. Our kitchen is stocked by a local network of farmers, growers, fishermen and producers, all located within roughly a 60-mile radius of Firefly.
From fresh seafood sourced through Portland Shellfish to heritage meats from Aurox Meats and pantry essentials from Country Fare, our chefs craft seasonal dishes that evolve throughout the year, celebrating the very best produce that Dorset has to offer.

Meet Paul Clarke and our wonderful kitchen team at The Firefly restaurant. Paul brings over 16 years of expertise to the menu, inspired by land and sea. As a Two AA Rosette-awarded chef, Paul’s cooking is rooted in seasonality, using locally sourced ingredients in every dish, prepared entirely from scratch. Within an open, exposed kitchen, the craft is at the heart of the experience, offering a glimpse into the precision and care behind every plate.
Close to the Dorset Jurassic Coast, fresh and locally sourced seafood sits at the centre of the menu, alongside a selection of timeless, comforting dishes, from much-loved favourites to familiar classics, designed for relaxed, family-friendly dining and crafted with the same care and attention throughout.
