Behind the gates to Silverlake, Dorset, the Firefly Spa & Restaurant sits on the edge of Firefly Lake, offering a place to relax and unwind. Spend the day in peaceful relaxation with swimming and spa treatments, before the light softens and the mood shifts into an evening of cocktails, good food and shared moments.

Having developed the Silverlake Estate for the past ten years, the Paxton Family felt it was the perfect time to create a Spa & Restaurant for their homeowners, guests and for the first time, the local Dorset community to enjoy. 

The Firefly didn’t just happen by chance. Its name is rooted in the history of the location itself. Beneath your feet lies RAF Warmwell, where pilots once flew missions across the Dorset skies in the Fairey Firefly aircraft. Where there was once a hum of engines, summer nights now bring the glow of fireflies along the lake's edge. From its history to the present day, the Firefly Spa & Restaurant is a place where nature, history and tranquillity meet.

The Firefly Spa & Restaurant marks a new chapter for the Paxton family, as the first business to be open to the local community for public use, offering memberships and year-round dining, all set within a beautifully designed landscape. 

This vision is built on decades of experience, with the family also creating Lower Mill Estate (1999) and Silverlake Estate (2011), both exclusive private developments for owners and holidaymakers. Known for their considered design and connection to nature, The Firefly Spa & Restaurant delivers exceptional hospitality, bringing community, ecology, sustainable architecture and mindful living together in harmony.
